“Soul Safari sparked in June, 2016, at the Vivid Ideas Festival in Sydney. We gathered for a weekend of up-close and personal conversations on craft and creativity in action. Australian artist Ken Done gave the keynote address on enduring creativity, artist Beci Orpin brought to life our shared vision for a creatively-fueled future and The School in Sydney hosted an incredible meetup of makers, designers, creators and collaborators. Lightning struck, and possibility became reality. These are our original Sydney Soul Safarians.”
